Cooking for a Party

Scenario:
SST is organising a class party for 25 and has entrusted you to plan, purchase and eventually prepare the dish.

The task:
Stage A. Preparation
  • Click on 'find a recipe' or to Martha Steward Recipe Finder select one recipe that is suitable for the party. It could be an appetizer, main dish, dessert or even snacks.
  • Remember to quote your source of recipe.
Stage B: Planning the Ingredients
  • You will be cooking a large meal for a party of 25 and so will need to change the quantities of the ingredients accordingly. Increase quantities using direct proportion and write a new shopping list.
  • All the measurement must be in metric unit (i.e. cm instead of inch)
Stage C: Pen down the menu
  • Use an A4 size format and plan your menu. The final product must be a picture to be uploaded to the 105classmaths blog.
  • The menu must have the following:
  • A photo of the final product
  • The ingredients (including the simple calculation of proportion)
  • The direction for cooking
  • The nutritional values (do a search on methods to convert to calories, fats etc)
  • Sources used in this task
  • Brief writeup on 'why this dish should be selected for the party'
  • Most importantly your name
Stage D: Submission
  • email your recipe to nurjohari.recipe@blogger.com
  • the recipe should not be more than 2 pages.
